Vice President, Commercial Relationship Officer
Avidia Bank is in search of a seasoned lender, well versed in small business C&I lending to identify new business opportunities and to continue building relationships with existing customers.
Primary responsibilities will include:
- Independently identify and develop prospective C&I lending opportunities through prospecting, referrals, and networking.
- Building & maintaining relationships with professional centers of influence.
- Analyzing borrowers' financial information to assess credit worthiness.
- Manage loan portfolio to maintain adequate profitability and documentation within sound commercial banking standards.
- Maintain credit files with required financial and non-financial documentation.
- Cross-sell bank's full range of commercial services including business loans, cash management, merchant services, etc.
Requirements:
- 10+ years experience of C&I lending in Community Banking environment.
- Formal bank credit training.
- Proven track record of C&I and CRE lending success.
- Excellent written, verbal, negotiation and presentation skills needed to achieve sales goals and represent the bank well in the business community.
- Develop and maintain commercial relationships focusing on small C&I businesses.
- Ability to network with professional centers of influence (CPAs, Healthcare, Attorneys, Property Managers, etc.).
- Development of new commercial and industrial business from a variety of sources, e.g. leverage existing customers for referrals, BNI type groups, publications, etc.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Excellent PC skills including word processing, internet and internal software
Teller - Clinton Branch
Primary Responsibilities:
- Providing efficient, effective and courteous customer service while performing a variety of transactions including processing deposits, withdrawals, payments, cashing checks, processing credit card cash advances, etc.
- Identifying and taking advantage of cross sales opportunities by making referrals and sales in line with established targets.
- Building productive relationships with our customers.
Job Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent and a minimum of one year experience in a cash handling customer service role.
- Previous teller experience preferred.
- Must be comfortable performing basic math procedures and have strong customer service, communication, problem solving and organizational skills.
- Schedule will include extended and/or weekend hours.
Assistant Head Teller - Hudson Main Office
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assisting with the supervision of Teller staff to ensure quality customer service and effective branch operation in conformance with Bank policies and procedures.
- Fulfilling the Head Teller's responsibilities in the absence of the Head Teller.
- Providing efficient, effective and courteous customer service while performing a variety of transactions including processing deposits, withdrawals, payments, cashing checks, processing credit card cash advances, etc.
- Identifying and taking advantage of cross sales opportunities by making referrals and sales in line with established targets.
- Building productive relationships with our banking customers.
Job Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent and a minimum of two years experience in a teller position with demonstrated leadership ability.
- Previous supervisory experience preferred.
- Must be comfortable performing basic math procedures and have strong customer service, communication, problem solving and organizational skills.
- Schedule will include extended and/or weekend hours.
Loan Processor - Residential Lending
The Loan Processor will perform various administrative tasks to assure that pending loans progress toward an underwriting decision within acceptable time frames.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Verify, compile and perform data entry of information for residential mortgage and home equity loans. Create pending loan file information using specialized PC software.
- Prepare written disclosures and other correspondence for timely delivery to applicants.
- Obtain credit bureau reports, mail verification of employment and deposit, and update physical loan files as well as pending loan file data on PC based origination software.
- Gather information from a variety of internal and external sources to verify and update pending loan files for final review and decision by underwriters.
- Prepare closing documents for both home equity loans and lines for use by loan originators as required.
- Interact with borrowers, originators and other bank staff and departments to expedite loan processing and the loan decision
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- One to three years residential loan processing experience
- Strong computing skills including experience with specialized loan origination software packages
- Strong communication skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
Assistant Branch Manager - Shrewsbury Branch
As a leader in the branch, the assistant manager will open all types of accounts and assist customers with a wide variety of questions and concerns in addition to assisting in the management of branch operations.
Additional responsibilities:
- Provides efficient, effective and courteous customer service. Opens all types of business and personal accounts and assists customers with support and maintenance on existing accounts.
- Maintains updated knowledge regarding the bank's products and services and promotes appropriate products based on customer needs. Identifies sales opportunities and actively pursues or coordinates with other bank departments to continue the sales process.
- Maintains and promotes the growth of the deposit portfolio by developing more extensive product relationships with existing customers and developing new relationships with potential customers.
- Serves as a consumer loan representative. Interviews applicants and completes and closes consumer loan applications in accordance with regulatory guidelines.
- Develops and maintains new and existing business relationships including establishing Bank-at-Work programs.
- Participates in setting branch goals and objectives. Supports the Branch Manager by assisting in resolution of customer issues, supervising staff, and managing branch operations in the Branch Manager's absence.
Requirements:
Associate's degree plus specialized banking course work and training. At least five years of retail banking experience with increasing levels of responsibility. Strong knowledge of banking products including various deposit accounts. Must have demonstrated knowledge of lending products and underwriting requirements. Must be comfortable demonstrating basic math skills and have excellent customer service delivery, communication, problem solving and organizational skills. Strong computing skills including MS Office applications and banking core processing systems (Metavante preferred). Required to work extended or weekend hours. Supervisory experience is desired.
