Smart Savings is a statement savings account that combines instant access to your money with a solid rate of return. Your interest rate is "tiered," so the more money you have in your account, the higher the interest rate you earn. Statement Savings allows you convenient, 24-hour access through ATMs, Internet Banking, and Informant telephone banking. When you access this account with an ATM, you may withdraw your money at any time, or as often as you like without penalty. Minimum opening balance is $10.

Sweep Option If you have a Avidia Checking Account, you can use our Sweep Option to automatically access funds in your savings account whenever there are insufficient funds in your primary checking account. This is one of the most simple and effective ways to protect against accidental overdrafts. There is a charge of $3 for each sweep.

Passbook Accounts are a very popular way to save. Minimum opening balance is $10, and you earn interest on balances of $10 or more. Interest is compounded daily and posted to your account on the 15th of the month. Unlike Statement Savings accounts, electronic access is not available for Passbook Accounts.

Direct Deposit Direct Deposit is a free, fast, simple way to deposit money into your account(s) electronically. You can use it to deposit paychecks, Social Security checks, tax refunds, stock dividends and other kinds of checks directly into any account you wish. There are many benefits.
