With Bravo, you can now send money directly in the recipient’s local currency. So, if you’re sending funds to a family member or paying a supplier in Portugal, the wire is sent in euros, offering added benefits, including:

• Faster processing: Sending wires in the local currency eliminates extra steps and regulatory procedures that can slow transfers down. “Before Bravo, U.S. dollar wires could take an additional day as a result of regulatory procedures,” explains Jill Small, Wire Room and FX Manager at Avidia. “Bravo makes the process much faster and seamless.”
• Lower costs: No extra or hidden fees are added to your transaction upon receipt.
• Transparent exchange rates: You’ll get a guaranteed exchange rate at the time of sending the wire, ensuring your recipient will receive the full expected amount. “If you want to know a conversion rate before you send a wire (also known as an indicative rate), we can provide that information as well,” shares Jill.
• Convenient access: You can send international wires from any Avidia Bank branch, where our staff is fully trained in the Bravo platform. Business customers using Avidia Cash Management can also send wire transfers directly through Bravo to verified suppliers.
• Choice: Bravo can send wires in up to 20 local currencies to 50 countries.

Bravo doesn’t just make sending money easier; it also simplifies receiving funds overseas.
