Founded in 1997, the Avidia Charitable Foundation has been our way of giving back. We connect with nonprofits to play a small part in helping them achieve their missions. Grant Guidelines

If you’re a nonprofit organization, you’re eligible to request a grant through the Avidia Charitable Foundation. Organizations include, but aren’t limited to, those that place an emphasis on projects focusing on the disadvantaged and the underserved. The areas of particular interest are those related to health and human services, housing, education and community, workforce development and, to a lesser degree, the environment and the arts.

To qualify, your request must benefit residents in our designated service area (containing Berlin, Bolton, Boylston, Clinton, Framingham, Grafton, Hopkinton, Hudson, Lancaster, Leominster, Marlborough, Northborough, Shrewsbury, Southborough, Sterling, Stow, Sudbury, Upton, Wayland, Westborough and West Boylston).

The minimum request is $1,000. There is no maximum amount, but the request should be appropriate and reasonable. Grants are typically awarded for a specific project or purpose rather than for general funds. We don’t award grants to other foundations.

The Foundation meets quarterly to discuss grant candidates. To be considered, submit your request below by the 25th day of the last month of the quarter. We’re genuinely excited to hear your story.
